On Saturday, July 19, sprinter Rani Rosius will line up for the 100 meters at the KBC Night of Athletics in Heusden-Zolder. After a short three-week competition break to rest her Achilles tendon, Rosius has chosen her home meet as the ideal moment to fire back up on the track.

She will immediately be presented with a high-level international race. Among others, Patrizia Vanderweken, the Luxembourgish athlete who won bronze at the recent World Championships, and American Maia McCoy, who is having a strong season, including performances in the Diamond League, will also be at the start. The 100 meters is therefore expected to be one of the absolute highlights of the evening.

The Limburg champion is determined to deliver a strong performance in front of her home crowd. The KBC Night of Athletics has long been a key fixture on the athletics calendar. The meet attracts top Belgian athletes as well as international talents aiming for fast times, personal bests, and qualification standards for the World Championships in September. For spectators, it’s a unique opportunity to witness top-level athletics up close in an atmospheric setting.
