Belgium has had a strong indoor athletics European Championship! 
With three medals and impressive performances from our athletes, the stage is set for an amazing athletics season. The Night of Athletics is already promising fireworks! 
Day 1:
In the 4x400m mixed relay, Julien Watrin, Imke Vervaet, Cristian Iguacel, and Helena Ponette raced to silver 
with a time of 3’16″19, just behind the Netherlands.
Day 2:
Michael Obasuyi stormed to sixth place in the 60m hurdles.
Ruben Verheyden fought his way to seventh place in the 1500m.
Day 3:
Elien Vekemans soared over 4.55m in pole vaulting, securing seventh place.
Day 4:
Eliott Crestan sprinted to silver in the 800m.
The Belgian Tornados claimed another medal, racing to bronze in the 4x400m.
Team Belgium is ready to keep shining! With the Night of Athletics on July 19, we can expect even more spectacle, with an eye on the World Championships in Tokyo!
